From this impressive natural viewpoint, enjoy a panoramic view of El Calafate and the central body of Lake Argentino. The tour offers views of the Andes Mountains and the glacier accumulation area, towards Boca del Diablo (the narrowest part of the lake, heading to Upsala arm), and if weather permits, Fitz Roy and Torre mountains in El Chaltén. You may also spot condors in flight.

The excursion includes a countryside snack. The trail passes through breathtaking landscapes with high-altitude vegetation, reaching up to 1,050 meters above sea level. Stops include a natural viewpoint overlooking El Calafate and Lake Argentino, the Laberinto de Piedras (85-million-year-old Cretaceous rock formations), Huyliche Café for a snack, and Piedra de los Sombreros, unusual iron concretions found only in four places in the world. Return to El Calafate with continuous views of Lake Argentino. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart El Calafate and travel 85 km to Perito Moreno Glacier, formed around 30,000 years ago. The glacier front reaches 80 meters in height and stretches 3 kilometers. It is the only glacier in the world that advances over water, separating the South Arm from the Rico Arm of Lake Argentino. The tour allows close views from land through multiple viewpoints to witness this extraordinary spectacle and the occasional ice calving. Return to El Calafate.

Next, enjoy the Nautical Safari—a boat trip on Lake Rico to appreciate icebergs from the Perito Moreno Glacier. The boat reaches the southern end of Canal de los Témpanos at a safe distance from the glacier front, allowing observation of ice detachments.
