DAY 4 – BUENOS AIRES / USHUAIA
Transfer to the airport. Flight to Ushuaia. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Depending on arrival time, a city tour may be added (optional).

The city tour begins at the Tourist Pier. Along Maipú Avenue we will see several landmarks, such as the Civic Square—where the National Flag was raised for the first time—the former Police Gamela, the Old Government House, the General Store, and the Old Temple of Our Lady of Mercy, all notable for their history and architecture. Before crossing the Fique Footbridge, we will see the Falkland Islands Monument.
From the Old Airport area, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains.

Continuing through La Misión neighborhood, the next highlight is Solier neighborhood—first settlement of Italian immigrants—and then the Andino neighborhood, heading toward the viewpoint of Las Hayas Hotel for panoramic views of Ushuaia Bay, Beagle Channel, the port, the peninsula, and the industrial area.

Descending, we will observe the Water Treatment Plant and various local architectural styles. The Centenario Walkway commemorates the groups that formed Ushuaia’s early population.

San Martín Avenue, the city’s main street, features major shops and historical buildings such as the Old Pioneers’ House, the new Our Lady of Mercy Temple, the Tourism Secretariat (now Government House), the City Hall, Bar Ideal, and the Post Office. At the end of the street we find the Naval Base Almirante Berisso and the Old Prison and Recidivist Jail.

The tour ends at the passenger’s choice: one of the museums (the Prison Museum or the End of the World Museum) or at the hotel.
Note: Museum–hotel transfer not included.

Accommodation.

DAY 5 – USHUAIA
Breakfast. Today’s visit includes Tierra del Fuego National Park and the End of the World Train.

This excursion runs year-round. Departing Ushuaia, we travel 8 km to the station located at the Municipal Camping Area, in the Río Pipo Valley. Here, motor and diesel locomotives with large panoramic windows and heating await to begin the ride through the Fuegian forest.

The train route passes through the area once traversed by prisoners performing forced labor. It enters Tierra del Fuego National Park through Cañadón del Toro. A stop is made at Macarena Waterfall before continuing to the Park Station, where the tour continues by bus.

With a surface of 63,000 hectares, the park features a variety of local flora such as lengas, guindos, notros, calafates, orchids, violets, and senecios. The tour offers magnificent panoramic views over the Beagle Channel framed by mountains and forest.

We will follow the route along the mountain slope, passing peat bogs, beaver dams, and arriving at Lapataia River and Laguna Verde. Kaiken and bandurria birds arrive here every summer. Recommended walks include the trail to Laguna Negra or the Beavers Trail.

We then continue to Lapataia Bay—end of National Route Nº 3, 3,242 km from Buenos Aires—where ancient inhabitants left archaeological remains known as “concheros.” Before returning to Ushuaia, we will stop at Roca Lake, whose color changes with the weather.

The excursion ends at the port. Free time for lunch.

Next, we board a catamaran to sail the Beagle Channel, visiting Ushuaia Bay, the north coast, archipelago, and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. We will also visit Los Lobos Island and Los Pájaros Island, observing colonies of sea lions and numerous seabirds (cormorants, albatrosses, petrels, oystercatchers, etc.). Return to Ushuaia.

Accommodation.

DAY 6 – USHUAIA
Breakfast. Full-day excursion to Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano.

Leaving Ushuaia eastbound, we will stop to view the Old Prison complex, pass the industrial area, and enter the forest where the Velo de Novia waterfall appears. While skirting Mount Olivia, the vast peat-filled Carabajal Valley opens before us, continuing through the Valley of the Huskies, Tierra Mayor, and Las Cotorras.

Reaching Rancho Hambre, the road begins its ascent. At 430 meters above sea level, in Garibaldi Pass, we enjoy an unparalleled view of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.

We descend to the shore of Lake Escondido, where the Petrel Inn stands. Continuing along National Route Nº 3, we enter the sawmill area, where dense lenga forests dominate the landscape. A detour leads to the vast Lake Fagnano. Due to its size, some seabirds—carried by strong winds—may be seen over its waters, including albatrosses and petrels.

Return to Ushuaia by the same route.
