Morning departure for the Circuito Chico excursion.
Duration: Half Day
Departures: 08:30 to 12:30 / 15:00 to 18:00
Operates: All year
Difficulty: Easy

Circuito Chico covers the most representative landmarks of the mountain landscape.
The route runs along Ezequiel Bustillo Avenue, bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi. As one moves away from the urban area, the scenery changes to reveal local flora and forests of cypresses, maitenes, coihues, and ñires.
At kilometer 17 lies the base of Cerro Campanario (1,050 m), featuring a chairlift (optional) to one of the eight most stunning panoramic viewpoints in the world. Near kilometer 24 are the San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo, and the Llao Llao Hotel.
After passing Villa Tacul and Lake Escondido, the tour reaches the junction of Lakes Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno, crossing the Angostura Bridge over the river of the same name.
The circuit also includes the Panoramic Point (Lake Moreno Viewpoint). The return trip follows El Trébol Lagoon and rejoins Bustillo Avenue, leading back to downtown Bariloche.
This 60 km journey allows visitors to admire lakes, mountains, and native forests of remarkable beauty.
Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 3 – SEVEN LAKES ROUTE
Duration: Full Day
Operates: All year
Departures: 08:00 to 18:30
Difficulty: Easy

In addition to the scenic “Seven Lakes Road,” this excursion visits the picturesque towns of Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes.
The route from Bariloche to San Martín de los Andes is one of the most remarkable experiences for travelers visiting the region. It is a full-day journey through Nahuel Huapi and Lanín National Parks.
Departing north along National Route 40, the road passes Puerto Manzano and Villa La Angostura—an authentic mountain village. The Seven Lakes Road continues past Lakes Correntoso, Espejo, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso, and Machónico.
Upon arrival in San Martín de los Andes, on the shore of Lake Lácar, guests will have free time for lunch and to explore the town center. The return to Bariloche follows the same route.

DAY 4 – VICTORIA ISLAND & ARRAYANES FOREST
Duration: Half Day
Operates: All year
Difficulty: Easy

After a scenic navigation, the tour arrives at the Quetrihué Peninsula, home to the famous Arrayanes Forest, located in the northeastern area of Lake Nahuel Huapi.
The Arrayán tree (Quetrihué in Mapuche language) is a cinnamon-colored shrub with white flowers. In this unique location, it grows to tree size, forming a magical and rare forest.
The excursion continues by boat to Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island. Walking along the trails toward Playa del Toro, visitors can admire ancient cave paintings created by Indigenous peoples, set against a stunning volcanic sand beach—an unforgettable experience.
Guides from the National Park provide valuable insight, ensuring a unique and enriching experience.

DAY 5 – CERRO TRONADOR & LOS ALERCES WATERFALL
Duration: Full Day
Operates: All year
Departures: 08:00 to 18:00
Difficulty: Easy

Departing south from Bariloche along Route 40, the journey passes Lakes Gutiérrez and Mascardi before turning onto the road to Tronador.
The route leads to the Manso Medio River, where it splits. Instead of crossing the bridge, the path continues past Lakes Los Moscos and Hess, then crosses the Roca River and arrives at a parking area. From there, a short walk leads to the Los Alerces Waterfall viewpoint — a beautiful 20-meter-high fall formed by the Manso River shortly after leaving Lake Hess.
This cold, crystal-clear river flows all the way to the Pacific Ocean in Chile. The waterfall can be admired from a wide viewpoint surrounded by dense coihue trees and moss-covered walls with ferns. In this area, the forest also contains some alerce trees, hence the waterfall’s name.
The excursion continues to Pampa Linda for a lunch stop, then proceeds to the base of Cerro Tronador, the highest peak in the National Park, named for the thunder-like sound of its breaking glaciers. From this point, the “Ventisquero Negro” (Black Glacier) can be observed before returning to Bariloche.
