GETAWAY TO LA PAZ AND LAKE TITICACA TOUR

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN LA PAZ
Reception and transfer to the hotel.
El Alto International Airport, located at 4,080 meters above sea level, is the highest international airport in the world. The transfer from the airport to downtown La Paz follows a short highway offering stunning panoramic views of the city nestled in the valley — a breathtaking sight, especially at night.

DAY 2 – LA PAZ CITY TOUR
A four-hour panoramic tour of La Paz, declared one of the New 7 Wonder Cities of the World. The city lies in a valley at the foot of the Royal Range of the Andes, at an altitude of 3,632 meters above sea level.

We’ll visit the local markets, known for their colorful handicrafts, textiles, and mystical artifacts, followed by the colonial area, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square, and Killi Killi Viewpoint, which offers a magnificent city panorama.
The tour continues through the modern southern zone of La Paz (descending to 3,200 m) and ends at the Valley of the Moon, an impressive landscape sculpted by natural erosion.

The cable car ride will be an excellent opportunity to admire the city from above — an absolute must-do while visiting La Paz.

DAY 3 – LA PAZ / COPACABANA / ISLA DEL SOL
Pleasant bus journey from La Paz to Copacabana (approx. 3.5 hours), with spectacular views of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
In Copacabana, we’ll visit its church and the famous “Dark Virgin” (Virgen Morena).

We’ll then take a boat ride across Lake Titicaca to Isla del Sol (1 hour), stopping at Huacani for a traditional Aptapi (Andean picnic). The journey continues by boat to the Inca ruins of Pilkokaina, followed by a scenic walk to Ecolodge La Estancia, offering one of the best views of Lake Titicaca.

DAY 4 – LA CHINCANA / ISLA DE LA LUNA / COPACABANA / LA PAZ
Don’t miss the breathtaking sunrise over the lake.
Morning hike along the Inca Steps of Yumani to visit the Fountain of Eternal Youth, followed by a boat trip north to the Chincana Ruins and the Sacred Rock (1 hour). Return to Copacabana (1.5 hours) and transfer back to La Paz (3.5 hours).

DAY 5 – DEPARTURE FROM LA PAZ
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your next flight.
