BOLIVIA – ESCAPE TO SANTA CRUZ & JESUIT MISSIONS

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN SANTA CRUZ
Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Evening arrival in this beautiful tropical city located at 437 m (1,433 ft) above sea level. Santa Cruz is the gateway to the Amazon region.

DAY 2 – SANTA CRUZ / SAN JAVIER / CONCEPCIÓN
Travel through the Chiquitania plains, crossing the Río Grande and passing by San Ramón and the Jesuit Mission of San Javier (approx. 4 hours), a beautiful colonial town whose impressive church has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue through open savannas and jungle to reach the town of Concepción (approx. 1½ hours), the largest Jesuit mission center, home to a remarkable 18th-century baroque-style church and a Mission Museum that preserves original manuscripts of baroque and renaissance music.
Included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 3 – CONCEPCIÓN / SANTA CRUZ
Morning visit to the Santa Rita Weavers Community, where visitors can observe the artisans’ skillful work creating traditional textiles using cotton fibers and natural ochre dyes.
In the afternoon, return to Santa Cruz (approx. 5½ hours).

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FROM SANTA CRUZ
Transfer to the airport to board the departing flight.
End of services.
